The elevator doors open on the 91st floor, and the city suddenly stretches in every direction. Inside Air by Kenzo Digital, reflections turn a single skyline into a landscape that seems to repeat forever. Silver spheres drift through the space, glass floors reveal the street far below, and Manhattan itself becomes part of the artwork. The visit begins high above Midtown Manhattan on the observation floors of One Vanderbilt. Walk through mirrored galleries where the skyline surrounds you from every direction, then step out onto Levitation’s glass ledges for an unobstructed view straight down to Madison Avenue. Visitors who choose SUMMIT Ascent continue the journey in the world’s largest external glass elevator, rising another 12 stories along the outside of the building for one of the highest unobstructed views in the city.
Finish the experience at Après, the sky-high lounge, with a drink in hand as the New York skyline stretches out below. Guests visiting on the Night Experience get the same three floors after dark, when the city’s lights turn the mirrored installations into something completely different from the daytime visit.
