The vertical, helix-shaped tower is hard to miss once you’re near Imbiah Lookout on Sentosa Island. Step into the open-air gondola and within moments you’re rising above the treeline no walls, no glass, just open sky and a slow, steady rotation that gives every seat a full turn of the view. At 79 metres above sea level, the ride clears enough height to put Sentosa’s beaches, Keppel Bay and the Southern Islands into a single sweeping panorama, with the Singapore skyline rising in the distance. By evening, the tower’s LED lighting turns the same ride into a completely different experience the city lights take over where the daytime skyline left off.
