The moment you pass through MOTIONGATE™ Dubai’s studio-gate entrance, you’re inside Studio Central a New York-style backlot lined with shops, snack counters, and photo-worthy movie sets. From there, the park fans out into four more worlds. Head into DreamWorks for indoor, air-conditioned rides based on Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and How to Train Your Dragon. Cross into Columbia Pictures for New York-set thrills with Ghostbusters and Hotel Transylvania. Lionsgate brings the adrenaline with Hunger Games and Step Up-themed attractions, while Smurfs’ Village slows things down with gentle rides built for younger children. With 27+ rides and attractions across roughly 43 acres, no two hours at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai feel the same from spinning dragon rides to New York-set 4D battles and family-friendly play zones.

Your experience

Your day moves at whatever pace you set. Chase the big-thrill rides first thing in the morning before the queues build, retreat to the indoor DreamWorks zone through the hottest part of the afternoon, then finish with live shows and character meet-and-greets as the park cools down toward evening. Families with younger kids can base themselves around Smurfs’ Village and DreamWorks, while thrill-seekers will want to prioritise Lionsgate and Columbia Pictures early in the day.

Know before you go

Recommended visit length is 5–7 hours to comfortably cover all 5 zones
Some rides carry a minimum height requirement (typically 100–140 cm depending on the ride) check individual ride signage on arrival
Some rides may be temporarily closed for maintenance or operational reasons
If you choose the 2-Park Pass, both parks must be visited on the same calendar day
Complimentary hotel shuttle runs on a first-come, first-served basis and isn’t guaranteed arrive early to secure a seat
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are strongly recommended given the park’s size
