The moment you enter Safari World Bangkok, the city noise disappears. You drive straight into open savanna-style terrain where giraffes, zebras, rhinos and lions move freely just meters from your car window no bars, no glass, just wide-open habitat. It’s the kind of close animal encounter that’s hard to get anywhere else in Southeast Asia. Marine Park sits on the other side of the same grounds and it runs on a completely different energy: dolphin acrobatics, sea lion tricks and a cowboy stunt show that keeps kids and adults equally entertained. Between the two parks, you’re looking at a full day that mixes quiet wildlife-watching with high-energy live entertainment.

Your experience

Most visitors split their day in two. The morning goes to Safari Park you’ll want your camera ready as giraffes lean toward the car and zebras graze just off the road. It’s a slow, easy drive and there’s no rush to keep moving.

The afternoon shifts gears at Marine Park, where showtimes run back-to-back. If you’re doing the combo ticket, plan your buffet lunch around the show schedule so you don’t miss the Dolphin Show or Orangutan Boxing both tend to be the most requested by first-time visitors. Families traveling with young kids should budget extra time; between the drive-through, the shows and lunch, a full visit realistically takes 6–8 hours.

Children under 100cm enter free (must be accompanied by an adult); children up to 140cm get the child rate; visitors above 140cm are charged as adults.
The Giraffe Terrace, where you can hand-feed giraffes up close, has a separate entry fee of 200 THB per person (includes one bucket of giraffe feed) this isn’t included in the base ticket.
Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed inside the park.

The park sits roughly 45–60 minutes from central Bangkok by car, so factor in travel time when planning your day.
