Tour Description

Ain Dubai isn’t just another observation wheel at 250 metres tall, it’s officially the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel ever built, nearly double the height of the London Eye and taller than the High Roller in Las Vegas or the Singapore Flyer. It sits on Bluewaters Island, a short walk or shuttle ride from JBR and Dubai Marina and gives riders a full 360° view of the Dubai skyline, the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf. You’ll ride inside one of 48 fully climate-controlled cabins for roughly 38 minutes long enough to properly take in the skyline instead of rushing past it. Since reopening in December 2024 after a multi-year build-out and refit, Ain Dubai has become one of Dubai’s most-photographed newer attractions and it’s easy to see why: few viewpoints in the world combine this much height with this smooth a ride. Book your Ain Dubai tickets online to lock in your cabin type and skip the on-site ticket counter.

We booked the Green Planet and Ain Dubai combination package through headout for the first time and were delighted. Everything worked wonderfully, as described in the insert. We were able to exchange the digital vouchers for tickets at the specified locations. After redeeming the first attraction, you have 7 days to visit the second. The Ain Dubai can be visited until 4.30 pm and then again from 8.00 pm. The sunset time is excluded from this ticket, but this is not a problem. The view is also spectacular by day or night. As everything worked out so well, we booked again via headout and were not disappointed this time either. A great experience for fair money!

Wonderful place, beautiful on a wheel and walk around it. The tallest wheel in the world. Surprised and impressed by its size and amenities. And one cabin can accommodate 8 people. Very beautiful panorama. I recommend it to everyone, very cool.
As your cabin lifts off, Dubai’s skyline softens into a wide, glittering panorama Palm Jumeirah stretching into the Gulf, Dubai Marina’s towers catching the light and the coastline curving out toward the horizon. The ride is slow and steady, so there’s no rush to catch the view before it’s gone. Inside, the cabin stays cool and quiet, and there’s real space to move around and find your angle rather than being stuck in one seat. As you climb higher, familiar landmarks Burj Al Arab’s sail-shaped silhouette, the Marina skyline, the outline of the Palm line up below in a way you don’t get from ground level. This is Dubai from a genuinely different vantage point: higher, slower and quieter than almost anywhere else in the city.

Check-in is quick and organized you’ll pass through pre-ride interactive displays before boarding, which helps build anticipation rather than just standing in a line. Once you’re inside your cabin, the ride itself is smooth and unhurried, giving you the full 38 minutes to enjoy uninterrupted views of the coastline and skyline.

If you’ve booked a premium ticket, you can relax in the exclusive lounge beforehand with a drink in hand, then board through priority boarding, so you’re not waiting behind the standard queue. It’s an easy, low-effort activity that works equally well for a couple’s evening out, a family outing, or solo travelers wanting a proper introduction to Dubai’s geography from above.
